I got this phone 2 days ago and I love it! I always had LG flip phones and wanted to try something different. I'm still getting used to the keyboard. I love how big the screen the is and the touch screen is easy to use. I love how LG keeps their phone set up pretty much the same way. I had the LG wine 2 and with this phone I could set it up the same way I had my LG wine. 2 One weird thing about the phone is the SD card slot is by the battery so you have to remove the back cover in order to put your card in. Took me awhile to figure that out. Other then that I have had no problems with it.
Pros: Battery Life, Tools, Ease of Use, Good For Texting, Menus
Cons: sd card in a werid spot

I got this phone because I don't want a data plan and like the keyboard slide away. Unfortunately it dials when locked, I cannot tell you how many people it has called all by itself- so many that I have replace the first 5 A letter contacts wit A, AA, AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA, all with no real numbers so I random dial a no one. The key color is terrible during the day- I cannot see the blue against the grey in any kind of daylight, so have to find shade whenever I text outside.
Pros: Good For Texting, Battery Life
Cons: random dialing, cannot see the blue keys in daylight

I love this phone! I have a kindle, an Ipod, a laptop, a desk computer, so I really have no use for a smart phone. We wanted to keep the cost of our phone bill down and not have to add a data plan. I was looking for a phone that could take pictures, granted the camera isn't that strong, but for fun use, it's fine. I haven't had any issues other customers have listed. Every cellphone needs to be locked or it can randomly make calls. Just lock the phone when done, it's easy to press the top button, kind of like hanging up a cordless phone when your done! Not to difficult! LOVE this phone! Very easy to use when texting!

I got this phone because it is one of the very FEW that you can get where you don't have to have a data plan. I catch it randomly calling people all the time. The chat feature on the text messages never goes to the right person and conversation. Half the time when I reply to a text message, it will go to a different person. The camera is worthless also.

Cons: Software Bugs, camera

It will say unable to send a text so I have to cut off the phone and then back on to get it to send text. My son texted me one whole day and I didnt get a one. He finally called me and I cut the phone off and when it came back on all the text came to my phone. When on the internet the screen scrolls by itself and you cant stop it enough to read anything. The keypad numbers are to small to see or push. Dont waste your money on this one. video quality is poor

This phone is one of the best i have had. It is one of the few non data phones left and it has all the needs i need. The camera works well and it could also take video. The touch screen is a tad bit sensitive but you'll get used to it after a day or two. One of the really cool features is that you can draw the letters. When you text ( main reason for the phone) you could either use the keyboard, the on screen keyboard, or you could draw the letters. This phone is one of my favorites yet! I don't have data on it so i don't know how it works with it.
Pros: Durable, Speaker, Good For Texting, Menus, Battery Life, Tools, Ease of Use, Camera/Video Quality, everything i need!
Cons: nothing at all

I have only had this phone for about a month but love it! I had the LG Banter for 3 years and had to finally get a new phone. This one is very similar and the big screen is nice. The slide out keyboard is what I was looking for in a new phone. Texting is set up in a very convient form. My husband who only likes flip phones even likes it. Took a little while to get used to the touch screen but it is very nice and handy. Also easy to lock the screen from my two year old, just cant let him slide the phone to the keyboard or it unlocks. I only use it for calls and texting. Does a really good job. Could use a little better camera though same MP as my Banter was but doesnt do as well of a job.

You cannot hang this phone up and just throw it in your purse or pocket. You have to press the button on top to blacken the screen. I hang up and throw it in my purse and I call random contacts everyday. The contacts icon is on the lower right side so it's so easy to bring up contacts accidentally, then pocket dialing begins. Absolutely hate how when i check my voicemails, I have to be so careful. If you put your chin against phone it falls right on 7. I delete my voicemails on accident all the time.
Pros: you can text while talking on the phone.
Cons: Operating System, to easy to pocket dial, chin hits buttons and you hang up on people

I really like this little phone. Good features, display and keyboard. Keyboard is a bit hard to see in some low light situations but that's about my only complaint. I have not experienced any of the negative things said about this phone but then this is not a phone for people with big clumsy hands or who cannot get used to touch screen technology. Good phone if you don't want a smart phone.

I have had this phone for several years and found it to be a very good phone. It is the perfect size to fit in the pocket and the keyboard is as big as you can get on a phone this size. I have never had any problems with my face hanging it up while talking like other reviews. Maybe they are new to using phones. My battery is the original and always lasted for several days worth of calling and texting. This is a great phone that actually works as a phone. I have never understood the need for "smartphones" unless you have the need to constantly play games and update your facebook status. Dumbphones forever!

i would NOT recommend this phone to anyone EVER ! It hangs up whenever it decides to, locks all the time , wayyyyyyyyyyyy to sensitive on the screen - i am awaiting the FLIP TOP to arrive & then i am done with this . I continually keep the SPEAKER PHONE ON due to the fact the phone hangs up . A terrible terrible piece of equipment. Definitely NOT usere friendly.

If you put your cheek to close it hangs up on you. The keys are way to small. The battery life is not very good.The pictures are small.

Myself and another family member both got this phone. Both of them turn off on their own all the time (after the 15 day replacement period). The chat display was poorly designed and often times doesn't display the text messages in chat view.

The unlock button on this phone is very poorly planned out. Every time I use this phone to talk, my cheek hits the unlock button and then hangs up the phone. I hate, hate, hate this phone.

I bought this phone from my local US Cellular store no more than 16 days ago and the phone is already dead in the water and unusable. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. It worked fine then one afternoon I went to use it and it was stuck in some sort of boot up screen with a white background and the US Cellular logo in the middle. Cant turn it off/on, it wont charge, attempted to restore from LG website and the phone would not even allow connection for restore. Its basically toast after only 16 days. I will not have another of this type and do not recommend other to buy it either.

This phone replaced my Motorola Quantico. Basically I wanted a more user friendly phone for texting, but I don't have a data plan so options are limited. So far I am very pleased with this phone. It's very well thought out in functionality and changes screens very fast. My only complaint so far is that the letters on the slide out buttons are kind of hard to see. Otherwise, I think it's the best phone in the lineup for my kind of usage. I'd buy it again.

I waited for this phone to come out I have always had LG phones and I usually love them but, this thing has been a pain in the butt since I got it. If I touch my cheek or my ear to the touch screen it hangs up the phone. I have a daughter who is ill and I am consulting with Drs. on a fairly regular basis and it hangs up. I talk to anyone it hangs up. Over and over and over again!! Hate it!!!
